Your extra set of hands for weddings, events, and hosting in Door County, WI

Why Errand Girl?

Sometimes you just need a reliable person there to handle the little things—the last-minute runs, the forgotten items, the in-between tasks that keep everything moving.

Errand Girl Events came out of my own wedding (and years of hosting), where I kept noticing the same pattern: even with a great plan in place—whether that’s a full planner, a coordinator, or a hands-on host—there are always real-time needs that don’t have a clear owner.

That’s where I come in.

I act as an extra set of hands on the ground, handling the in-between moments so everything runs more smoothly and no one has to step away from their role to deal with them.

I work alongside planners and coordinators, or step in when there isn’t one—supporting the parts of the day that don’t require oversight, but still need to get done.

Weddings, dinner parties, bachelorette weekends, bridal showers, vacation home stays, anniversaries, reunions—any gathering you want to feel seamless without carrying the full weight of it yourself.

Think of me as your day-of support system—part helper, part runner, part problem-solver.

How I hop in and handle it

Host Helper

Running out for last-minute needs, restocking supplies, setting things out, and keeping everything moving—without you having to manage it.

Runner & Restocker

Coffee runs, grocery runs, ice, drinks, and supplies. I’ll make sure the only thing that runs out is me.

Boundary Buffer

Creating space for you to be present. Handling requests, questions, and in-the-moment needs so you’re not constantly pulled out of the experience you planned.

Logistics Fairy

Running things between spaces, locations, and people—house to venue, car to suite, store to event. You point, I go.

Mishap Handler

From band-aids and bobby pins to spills, forgotten items, and the cake that didn’t get picked up—I handle whatever comes up, when it comes up.

Guest Support

Making sure everyone feels comfortable and taken care of. Water, grabbing a sweater, a place to sit—stepping in where needed so things stay easy and welcoming for everyone.

Planners and coordinators are experts at the big picture—timelines, vendors, and execution. I’m there to support everything happening in between, or support the host who planned it on their own.

Hi! I’m Ali.
Your Errand Girl.

I’m a highly detail-oriented marketer, copywriter and creative with a love of hosting, planning and all things acts-of-service.

My business takes deep inspiration from Priya Parker’s book The Art Of Gathering. I truly believe a well executed, intentional event has the power to change people—whether that’s a grand wedding or an intimate dinner party.

I live in Fish Creek with my husband (Evan) our two dogs (Banjo and Birdie) and our cat (Hank). To no one’s surprise, I love hosting and curating time with all the people in my life.
